Who we are

Cheam Air Conditioning is the air conditioning arm of WDI Group (Surrey) Ltd, a Surrey-based building services company. Working under one company means the same team handles the survey, the installation, the electrical work and the aftercare, so nothing is passed between subcontractors and lost along the way.

We deliberately keep our patch local. Most of our work is within a short drive of our base, which makes it practical for us to return for annual servicing or to attend if something is not working as it should.

How we work

Every project starts with a conversation about how you use the space. That determines the capacity, the type of indoor unit and where the outdoor unit can sensibly go. We then provide a written quotation setting out the equipment, the installation work and the warranty position.

On installation day we protect the working area, run pipework and drainage as agreed, commission the system and show you how to use it properly. Refrigerant handling is carried out by F-Gas registered engineers and logged as required.

Accreditations and compliance

Air conditioning work involves fluorinated greenhouse gases, which are tightly regulated in the UK. Our REFCOM registration (REF1021486) confirms that our engineers are qualified to handle refrigerant, and we work to current F-Gas requirements on every job. We are also fully insured for both domestic and commercial premises.
